Pharm Chicken Tenders

Easy and delicious Chicken Tenders. My favorite Chicken Tenders have parmesan but for those who prefer traditional Chicken Tenders you can omit the parmesan cheese. In this recipe I made both pharm chicken tenders and regular chicken tenders.

These delicious Gluten Free Chicken Tenders are full of flavor.

Pharm Chicken Tenders

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs

  • 1/2 tbl Heavy Cream. You can substitute with half and half or milk

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • Pepper

  • 2 cups Almond Flour

  • 2 Packages of Chicken Tenders

  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese

  • 1/2 tsp Spice Wind Seasoning. This seasoning is delicious on chicken and can be purchased from Thrive Market (optional)

Directions

  1. Beat in a small bowl 2 eggs with 1/2 tsp salt, dash of pepper, 1/2 tbl heavy cream and 1/2 tsp of spice wind seasoning

  2. Put eggs aside and mix 2 cups of almond flour and another 1/2 tsp of salt

  3. Shred the parmesan cheese. I prefer to buy a small block and shred as the package cheese often have starches listed in the ingredients

  4. Rinse chicken tenders and drain excess water. You can use a colander to drain the water or pat dry

  5. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  6. Line your parchment paper inside the baking sheet

  7. Dip chicken tender in egg first

  8. Using one hand roll the chicken back and forth in almond flour. I find that by keeping one hand dry helps to prevent the almond flour from getting clumpy

  9. After you add the almond flour dip into egg one more time

  10. Sprinkle parmesan cheese all over chicken

  11. For traditional chicken tenders skip steps 9 & 10

  12. Place chicken tenders onto baking sheet

  13. Cover baking sheet with foil. This will help to keep the chicken juicy

  14. Place chicken tenders in oven with foil and bake for 20 minutes

  15. After 20 minutes remove the foil, carefully flip the chicken tenders over and continue to bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the parmesan is crispy

Enjoy with a sugar free barbecue sauce or they also taste great by themselves.
