Ingredients for Cheese Shell:

  • 2/3 cup Mozzarella Cheese

  • 2/3 cup Pepper Jack Cheese

  • Parchment Paper

Garnishments:

  • Lettuce

  • Diced Tomatoes

  • Sour Cream

How to make a Cheese Shell for Tacos:

  1. Preheat Oven at 375 degree

  2. Place a parchment paper inside of the baking sheet

  3. Use any cheese you like.  For this recipe I used Mozzarella and Pepper Jack Cheese.  You can also use Mozzarella and Cheddar

  4. Add together 3/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese and 3/4 cup of Pepper Jack cheese.  I prefer to shred a block of cheese since packaged cheese tends to have starches in the ingredients

  5. Mix cheese together and place a handful onto the parchment paper.  This will give you two large cheese tacos in one baking sheet.  Make sure you leave enough space between the two cheese tacos so they don’t melt together

  6. Bake in oven for 10 minutes.  If cheese is too soft after 10 minutes put back into oven and bake for another 5 minutes.  The cheese taco shell is ready when the cheese browns on the outside.  Keep an eye on the cheese so that you do not burn it

  7. Once the cheese is done cool for 1 minute then place on a plate

  8. Add ground beef in the middle of the cheese taco shell

Garnish with lettuce and tomatoes.  Also taste great with a spoonful of sour cream
